Michelle Carlbert

Assistant to the President
Michelle Carlbert

Michelle’s career path has been anything but traditional. With professional experience spanning administrative support, client services, account management, and freelance writing, she brings a versatile, people-focused perspective to her role as President’s Assistant at Blumberg Digital.

Her passion for organization and supporting others began early. At just twelve years old, Michelle spent her summers working at the company where her mother was employed, helping manufacture hair accessories. By sixteen, she had transitioned into the administrative office, assisting with accounting and daily operations. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong interest in problem-solving, organization, and helping teams succeed.

Over the years, Michelle’s career has taken her through a variety of industries and roles. She spent many years working at a riding stable, training horses and teaching horseback riding lessons before moving into office administration, customer service, and client services. She later advanced into account management within the banking sector, gaining valuable experience supporting clients and managing complex business relationships.

Alongside her corporate career, Michelle built a successful freelance writing business that spanned more than a decade. During five years in Los Angeles, she worked as an entertainment journalist, interviewing actors, producers, and directors while developing a keen ability to communicate, connect with people, and tell compelling stories.

Michelle joined Blumberg Digital in 2023 as President’s Assistant, supporting Dan Brown across a broad range of operational, administrative, and strategic initiatives. From managing communications and coordinating projects to assisting with financial and organizational priorities, she plays an integral role in helping the company operate efficiently as it continues to grow.

What Michelle enjoys most is the opportunity to help others. Whether supporting team members, solving problems behind the scenes, or contributing to exceptional client experiences, she takes pride in being a dependable resource and ensuring every detail is handled with care.

The first job you ever had was:

Making jewelry and hair accessories during the summers, at the company where my mother worked.

My hobbies & interests are:

I love reading and typically read three to four books each month. I also enjoy writing and published my first book of short stories at the end of 2025. I’m currently working on my first full-length fiction series, set in the same world as those stories. I enjoy traveling and have visited several places outside the United States, including England, Wales, and Aruba. I’ve also taken solo road trips across the country and have seen more than half of the United States by car. I’m also a big fan of The Mandalorian and even named my car “Mando” because, when I first bought it, I thought it looked like a Mandalorian helmet.

What is something people don’t know about you?

I’m known as The Queen of Halloween 365 and have built a social media following of around 250,000 people. I share daily images and short stories about a fictional town I created where it’s always fall and Halloween.

What is your favorite food?

I’ve always loved a good cheeseburger and fries, though I don’t indulge very often. And of course—anything chocolate.
